That makes sense then.

It was definitely Scar Tumbela. Just saw the video from Savannah more closely. It looks like he ate most of the kill, so makes sense why he didn’t want to fight. It’s the first good quality video I’ve seen of these males, and this Tumbela honestly looks a lot worse than I remember (his back legs and running without putting any weight on that injured foot). But if Buddy and HB are surviving in their condition, hopefully this guy can bounce back too.

I think those limpings at first glance look worse when he isn't moving for a period of time... Once that Scar Tumbela get to move and get warm the limp it will disappear, Obviously this will happen until it improves or worsens. Nobody knows. There are a plenty of cases with different lions that have improving a lot with the injured legs.

" The Bboys have only ever chased them. In 2017, the 2 current remaining Bboys, Nhenha and Tinyo chased them off a meal and eventually they were pushed out."

I do not know about such incident, do you any source of such information?

" They have never put pressure to gain any advantage over the Bboys"

That they did not try to expand to Bboys lands doesn't mean they are scared of them. BY that logic we could say that for example Mbiri males are scared of Mapoza male or Birminghams are scared of Othawa male.

Here is the proof. Expanding has nothing to did with it but its proof they have no actual confidence to fact the Bboys. They have never put pressure, the Bboys are the ones who put pressure on them. Confidence comes from experience. They have no experience in facing the Bboys, so they don't have any confidence in confronting them.

Bboys do not put any preasure on S Avocas. There was never any attempt from Birminghams to takover Sparat, Plains Camp or Sands River prides.

"Confidence comes from experience."

Avocas had fought couple of battles with other coalitions in the past. They have about same level of experience as Birminghams have.

"They have no experience in facing the Bboys, so they don't have any confidence in confronting them."

What absurd is that lol. You say that only those who faced Birminghams in the past can have enought confidence to face Birminghams in the present. Wtf? We can also reverse that and say Birminghams have no experience in fighting Southern Avocas.

OK, now I catch up to this blog. Nice one from Birminghams althrough Avocas back then still were fairly young with just getting confidence to fight adults, but not having it quite yet. Now situation in that matter is different. I am not saying Avocas would destroy Birminghams or even be a more likely to win party, but I see those duos as fairly even now and I see no reason to say that one of that duos is scared of the other one.

Southern pride lioness and her 2 cubs!!

After finding fresh tracks of a male leopard just outside Earth Lodge, we decided to follow them to see if we could find where they were heading. After passing a rocky outcrop, something caught our eye… On closer inspection, we came across the Southern Pride lioness with her 2 beautiful cubs that seemed to be very intrigued by the presence of the vehicle.  Having previously thought she may have lost them; it is wonderful to have had a quick sighting of them before moving off to give them their space.

Perhaps the hyenas of the other day did this to him or either the N.Avocas males as you have said. I don't know to be honest. But really interesting

According to photographer Zaheer Ali. The Ring Eyed Southern Avoca male is the most impressive of all 5 Avoca Males. Even more so than DM Avoca and he recently saw DM in person. Quite surprising but this Ring Eyed Male looks like a beast. I think he is shorter than DM but more bulked up.

That isn't very surprising at first glance the S.Avoca males look much bigger and bulky than the N.Avoca males.
This S.Avoca male It's clearly much bigger and bulky while DM Avoca look like a very tall lion. A different structure in both lions after all.
Thanks for the great information @Slayerd
