Kambula pride with 2 Bboys in Singita, which is waay out of their territory, they where also been seen in Cheetah Plains previously (it seems that N. Avocas are not moving/pushing into Bboys territory, yet opposite, they are moving thru N. Avocas and Othawa males territories) :

" Perched atop a large termite mound, these male lions were watching a herd of buffalo; patiently biding their time, keeping close behind as the herd moves unsuspectingly. "

" The Southern Pride lioness seems to be doing incredibly well. While surviving and keeping strong without the comfort of a pride, we found her resting on a rocky outcrop enjoying the morning sun. "

Idk, ranger from Ulusaba whos working in Sabi Sands for 10+ years said that he is 13...

Those are all speculations..

Matimbas where born in Birmingham pride, and theres currently 2 Matimba sisters alive (might not be littermates, but born around the same time) , and Ngala rangers said that these 2 lionesses are currently 14, so i think thats the age of HB.

Matimbas where younger than Majingilanes, and Majingilanes where born in 2005..

Its either 2005 or early 2006, based on their appearence in 2009/10..

When they killed KT they looked atleast 4.5 - 5 yrs old..

Matimbas where certaintly atleast 1 year younger, they first appeared as nomadic males in 2011, if they where born 2005, that would mean that they where 6 yrs old than, and overtake Nkuhumas at 7 yrs old, which is hard to belive..

Sometimes such thinking is missleading as some lions are overdeweloped or underdeveloped for their age and does not look for their age. In general I agree with you that HB is most likely around 14 and half years old so born in early 2006 while Majingilanes were most likely born in mid 2005.

I remember James Tyrrell commenting under one of blogs saying the Majingilane and Matimba are of same age. Listen to rangers.
