So he'll probably become know as the silver-eyed Imbali male (if they both make it), that's better/more distinct than 'blonde Imbali male', which will be subject to change.

@Tonpa do you know who the pride male of the Hamilton's is? And any idea on the composition of the pride? Would be good if we got to see a bit more of them.

It's the two Leeubron males, I don't know the pride composition unfortunately, there's not a lot of information coming out of the Mluwati concesssion

Latest Tintswalo Virtual Safari. 8 + 1 members of the Mbiri pride. Orpen young male mating with one of the females.

I believe that was one of the younger lionesses, who I think have all come into oestrus recently and have been looking for other males to mate with, not wanting to mate with their brothers. Hence why they haven't been seen with the rest of the pride very much.

The Orpen sub has not turned 3 yet right? And he is already taking opportunities to mate lol.

It looks like he will be a powerful male, I hope he can find a partner or 2 eventually and be successful, he looks a lot like Jr who died in his prime, so hopefully he'll have a long life.

I dont think that was "real" mating, we can see that even smaller sub male wanted to mount her.

Btw, how many offsprings does Tintswalos have alongside that sub male?

That was definitely a real mating, the growls are proof of it.

I have heard lionesses make such growls while mating with each other. So those growls don't necessary mean anything.
