Wonky Eye The Buffalo Killer, has a ring to it, and it also makes me feel even better for his long term prospects.

Just confirmed with those working in the KNP that the above male, WE, is one of 3 brothers, young Imbali Males, all sons of the S8 Male.  It was stated in the response to my inquiry that all of them are his sons.

Are you referring me to posts we've already read in the past recently?!  Seriously?  I could do that same for you just to  make sure you've "read" my posts that directly contradict yours.

Idk if you read it or not, as you are saying same thing again.

That info about WE is not correct (as i already explained why).

You don't have to explain why, as you are apt to do to in your own way quite often, as I take the words of guides/rangers over yours 95% of the time.  They are on the ground, working there, seeing the prides/coalitions/nomads on a daily basis.  In this case, I also believe it is true that there are three sons of the Imbali (S8) Male from that same-named pride that are his sons.

As one social media poster likes to say, 'believe it, don't believe it, I don't give a rip.'  My opinions will not change despite your efforts and I'm sure yours won't either (although I'm not the one trying to change your mind, but have more respect for other people's opinions/thoughts).

I am not " doing my own way", I am just trying to provide correct info, supported by evidence, and years of following this lion.

Not sure how you think they are brothers, when theres footage of both groups in 2020, where Wonkey Eye is ~2 yrs old sub with his nomadic group, while his 2 younger Imbali partners are with imbali pride and S8, as few months old cubs.

I didnt meant to "disrespect" your opinion or info, but are you sure that your source has that info? They might not.

Im trying to get further clarity regarding this incident reported today:

"A clash in Manyeleti today between the Red Road male and his pride, and the Tintswalo male Mandevu and young Orpen male, led to the unfortunate killing of one of the Mbiri cubs."

more about how the cub was killed:

Legendary lion! The Red Road male was chased away today by Mandevu and the young Orpen male, but they suffered a loss as one of their Mbiri cubs was killed by Nahru pride today.

furthermore:

The Tintswalo male Mandevu quenching his thirst after his clash with the Red Road male.

For those asking about Mandevu’s brother, Mandevu and his brother “Ncile” were in Kruger for several months. A few days ago, Mandevu returned to Manyeleti alone, with no sign of his brother!

Yeah, RR and Nharu pride killed a Mbiri cub before Mandevu and the Orpen son chased him off.

Very sad for the cub ( possibly only 1 alive now? ) and for Ncila who's likely gone.

But man, the Matimba blood must run thick through the Orpen sub's veins, he's only 3,5yo and has already chased a legend like RR with Mandevu's help, that despite barely having a bond with his older cousin/half-brother and being apart from him for several months, they are far from a coalition. I hope we get to see good footage of the Orpen son with Mandevu to see how big he currently is.

Also, impressive by Mandevu who would likely be at low confidence levels after seemingly losing Ncila and having to possibly abandon his Kruger territory, we have seen before what happened when Mandevu tried his luck against RR alone.

r u sure that is w3hat happened to the cub? I ask because the above Tinstswalo video says a cub is missing.....these videos are usially ten to two weeks behind.

so I am wondeirng if this is an "ADDITIONAL" cub that is now killed or this is the wildfree account double counting? I cant find information where the killing of the cub is said anywhere but on his post.
