Bro nah, you gut a lot a pics of baby lions on here and just random pics of lions, you could have a separate thread that just shows the powerful lions or somethin like that, most muscular or strong dudes only. I mean they could do it for the tigers side to bro, if they don't that.

Cuz I mean, I saw this post by a guy Pckts, an he was sayin, he hadn't seen dat many captive lions and tigers, but yet he was assessin the differences between captive and wild, huh, then he said wild lions aren't that thick, whoa bro what, ok I mean yeah sure some aren't going to be, they don't all have the best nutrition like a captive dude, but Im sure of dis, there are some mother thick wild lions out there, I mean as stout as they come.  When a wild lion is healthy an he eatin high of da hog, he ends up looking like a bulldozer.

I mean have you bros seen all these ones, theres some real bruisers out there.  Captive or wild, the lion can be super thick.  An there was dis trainers I saw on another site, I forget which one it was, he was sayin the lion is the carthorse of the bigcats and the tiger the thoroughbred, I don't have the full quote Id have to find it, but when you think about it, yeah some of these lions look like carthorses.  Or like a cow or something.

And I would agree with him. Most of the pics show a lion after gorging himself and it's natural that he's going to look big.

However, lions tend to be on the leaner side for a very specific reason. The territorial patrols they conduct for one side, and mating bouts for another, force them to fast for several days at times, so it's natural they look like this most of the time.

Sur bro, but if you look an check out the muscles on the lions body man, I mean that looks different to me. I can kinda see what you mean, lions always patrolling there territory I think miles long so yeah they goin around lookin for a fight to protect the turf.  What do you mean by fastin, like they don't eat on purpose, I handn't heard that one?  Someone else was sayin to that the lions rear was weaker or somthin, I mean they might have a smaller behind yeah maybe I see that, but if ya look, I seen some lions with some super chunky strong rear legs, so I don't know.

You have said enough, no one is disregarding lions, you are trying too hard and in this process you are repeating the images that are posted in many places. Do not fill the thread with images just to prove your point.
This page is already load slower due to bunch of images.  So avoid putting lots of images just in single thread.
Pckst view was a general view base on what he saw in the wild, Don't mask it on individuals. Each species has huge variation in size and weight. Go get little wisdom tooth before speaking out of your mind

Ok bro, I didn't see your last post before I just posted the lions in the tree, but I think a lot of these pics are new cuz I hadn't seen them yet on here.  You could also put all these in a separate thread, called the powerful lions thread, would be pretty sweet.  Yeah Pckts, he said he hadn't seen that many captive lions and tigers, so I wasn't sure how he could assess the differcens that could unless he have.

A couple of things
I haven't seen many captive lions and tigers, but I have seen them up close and personal and the same as with wild counterparts so it's not like I'm coming from no where.

What I actually said was
"
I have only seen a few captive lions and tigers and to be honest, I find it very difficult to compare them to their wild counterparts. Wild cats have individual characteristics that are raw, they are primal, they have a much harder look in their eyes, scars on their face and body and are much more active. The captive cats I have seen either seem to be lazy, stressed or completely out of it.
Physical differences are easier to describe,
Captive lions are probably heavier than the wild ones I saw but they certainly aren't stronger. Captive lions I have seen usually seem more robust but also have more fat, wild lions are lean, strong and powerful. It's hard to describe but when you see a wild lion, it's body looks beaten but from this beating it's gained strength, a captive lion looks soft, unchallenged and weak in comparison."

You have chosen to focus on the word "lean" and that is what you gravitated towards. I have seen arguably the most well nourished Lions in the world (ngorongoro crater) and full bellied Serengeti males, I know what they look like and how large they are and what I'm going to say next may not be the most popular statement around here but it's the truth.
We post these images, I like to call them "cherry picked" images because we choose the most flattering angles, best lighting or action shots and we gravitate towards them. They are the ones we post, the ones photographers post and so on. It's for good reason, people would rather be awestruck than disappointed, but we actually have taken 100s of shots of these animals and we comb through the images to find the most flattering shots and those are the ones we want to show. The truth is, when you see these animals in the wild, your first reaction is usually "I thought they'd be bigger" at least that was my reaction, but that probably has to do with the fact that I've seen so many photos of these giant cats for so long that it's jaded me. I'm sure if I'd never seen a Photo of the Notches, Mapogos, Crater Lions or Majingilanes, I would of been blown away by Lion Size. Same for tigers, If I never saw a photo of Jai, Munna, Wagdoh, Bamera, etc. I would of been blown away by the Tigers I saw as well. I'm not saying that either cat isn't a large creature, because it is and they are extremely powerful looking but to be honest, the only animals that are truly massive are prime Cape or Gaur, Hippo, Rhino and Elephant, everything else is big but nothing will take compare to the animals I just named, at least nothing that I have seen so far.

This is just my personal opinion on the matter and I know each person sees something different.

Bro, you havent seen enough.  Where I was down south in the hicks, there was these places where they were like lion tiger farms, boat loads of tigers an lions, I seen up close, an talked to some other dudes to who have seen them, hundreds.  These captive tigers and lions I seen rarely are fat, I think you was just sayin that cuz you thought it sounded right, heh it cost too much to feed hudreds of these cats like at Bigcatrecuse an stuff, they not fat there, not even close, they feed em chickens every day. They cant give em 50 chickens, it just 1 or 2.  Only some circus tigers I seen once were fat, but dat about it, other whise the tigers can be fatter from what I seen in the wild pics.

You say you seen some of them in wild, like what ridin in a jeep for a few mintues as you were passin them or like seein them from a mile away using binoculars.  Bro that ain't enough to qualify to understandin what you seenin.  Look, I seen this big mother lion through the glass at dis place, it was sweet.  You wanna know somthin, da  only way you can know this is to see em up close, i was inches away, for hours, it was dope.  Ok, from a far, da lions forearms I noticed dont look so big, you wanna know what, up close feet away, they look super strong, thick, far away not, in pic not so much, so da cameras decieving.  You gut a be up close bro.

Dis ain't no cheery picked image bro, it called the mane ain't in the way obstructed da view.

Strongest bigcat arm I maybe ever saw, 0% body fat on dis bro.  This says a lot big time, dis is sick.

Christ is it annoying to read your comments. Not because of what you say, but how you "say" it. Drop "da dis, dat bro cuz" shit. Write like you made it past 7th grade.

If those are the biggest forearms you've seen on a cat, you need to go to the tiger sub-forum. There's a lot of big males, chief amongst them Wagdoh, who make that lions forearm look like a wet noodle.

Hey bro, before you go around tellin other people on how to read an write you might want to first learn to read yourself.  I never said forearm, I said arm.  I already said I think forearms are bigger in the tigers, but shorter bro.  But lions are more muscular in the shoulders and all over the whole frame.  I seen Whagdoh before, he looks big, but I didn't see the definition in his body, nor the thickness in the back, he just look heavy well fed, an his forearms didn't look that thick for a tiger to me.  I'll go check out the thread though an see. I seen more muscular tigers than Whagdoh.  I ain't never not seen any tigers with the body mucles that these lions have that I posted.  An that last lions arm, upper arm, rivals any tiger, yet with 0% fat bro.

The frame an body of the lion seem stronger ta me big time. I dont see this kind of musculetuer on the tiger, just sayin.

*This image is copyright of its original author

This lion thin, but super muscular.

*This image is copyright of its original author

Even though the lion might be thin at time without the fat bellies they gut super defined muscles from what up seein.  Like a bro hittin the gym an workin out his whole body, not just curling the dumbbells.

*This image is copyright of its original author

I mean you can see the veins on this bro, you can't see that on the tiger, cuz the fat is covering the tigers body most likely, lion don't have no fat, so you see even viens.  There ain't no body fat to puff out the muslces, so I mean what your seein is what your gettin.

*This image is copyright of its original author

Just a question, are there any tigers that are this thin, yet still look this muscular, just a question if ya don't mind me askin.

*This image is copyright of its original author

*This image is copyright of its original author

An forearms on these look pretty thick to me.
