the Bad A**

I felt Caesar was clearly bigger than Notch 2 aswell in that video, but we might see it in different way's. Ron is said to be the leader migth be correct, but the truth is that none of them are really the dominant male, I've seen both Grimace, Notch 2 and Caesar dominate Ron and people say different things on that. the only one who was dominant was Notch himself! it's quite

funny to see old Notch pesudo mate with Ceasar who's head is almost twice as big.

NOTCH AND HIPPO'S

*This image is copyright of its original author
Grimace and Ron with a hippo kill at the age of 2,5 years

the Notch boys started to hunt hippos at the age of 2 year's, that's much earlier than rekro boys and earless etc. they have become expert hippo killers and it's one of their most important prey spicies, almost every week you will see them on a new hippo kill, both small and big hippos. it's quite remarkable, some years ago I doubted Lions could bring down hippos! I had never seen it before , but now this coallition prey's opon them all the time. that might be the reason why the Notch boys are the biggest lions in the Masai Mara people have ever seen.

although Ron is much smaller than his brothers it dosen't mean he's a tiny lion. just take a look at how big he is on this fine looking lioness.

Always be careful when comparing to a lioness. Could be a small lioness, youngster etc. Remember females can be anywhere from 100kg-150kg or larger at their max. I'm always careful when comparing males to females, its fun to show but hardly scientific unless you get first hand accounts of the female being large.
I defintiely don't get the impression that Ron is an exceptionally large lion by any means. On video or picture he doesn't strike me as large. Ceasar on the other hand looks large on video or picture and it holds true when you compare him to the other males.

Quyen Vu They were running to greet Notch, werent they?

Notch the Lion-King of the Mara and His Five Sons Quyen, yeah you are right this is when they greet notch, then prepare to take the take the prides

If ceasar is in the middle correct?  Just compare chest girth, The one in the front looks to be the slimmest and the one in back seems to be slightly thicker and the middle seems the thickest. All seem similar in length and height.

I konw Ron is not an exeptionaly large male, but he's not small as he does sometimes look when he's with his brothers. I think he looks like a good framed lion even though the lioness is 100 or 150 kg's.
