Out of the 4 (now 3) cubs, which female lost the 4th cub? Was it 1 of the 3 littermates or the 1 remaining lone cub?

It was the same lone cub that got separated initially then later found.   Seems it lost too much condition to fully recover.   She was the last remaining cub of K2, a girl.  So now 2 girls and a solo boy remain from K3

@Mabingilane , I May need to amend my earlier report that the recent lost cub was the last of the K2 cubs.   I’ve been recently told that the youngest cub is seen in the latest video so it seems it’s actually not the same cub that went missing before, it’s a different one from K3.  One of her two girls, since the boy has also been seen.

Yes i was told that all of her cubs are now sadly gone. Only K3 has the remaining 3 cubs 2F:1M.
It seems as though she will probably return back to the pride now that all her cubs are no more. Which may end the breakaway pride and leave just one female and her 3 little ones.
I hope she stays to help her sister but her mating instincta may lead her to the Ndzhengas

Not neccesarly, in this situation, those females together nurse and feed those cubs, regardless who is from who.

Lionesses in a pride nurse each others cubs, cubs dont suckle only from their mothers.

She is long enough with them that she will feel that those cubs are also her, and will continue her duty to raise them.

Indeed they do. I just really hope they stick together. As they Allo-groom and Allo-Suckle one another's cubs i am hoping for them to stay together. But there is also a chance she will go back into heat soon.
Very sad for her loss. One by one she lost all her cute cubs

Apparently Ubuso found the Kambula childcare group and chased them south. No additional information on that for now, but hopefully all of them, including the cubs, are okay.

So K3 still has older cubs, K2 lost hers and will go back into oestrus, K4 gave birth in May along with either K5 or K1, one of which has instead given birth in a few days ago?
