I was surprised she came back when her daughter(s) was just around two, knowing in the back of her mind that it was a big risk.... Her sub didn't survive as a result. Those few years invested in her litter down the drain.
Did one of them already disappear before she came back? I was hoping she'd form a separate breakaway pride, at least until her sub was old enough to fend for herself. Which one was she? And I wonder if she's in the smaller group, along with the K6....
Yes. That is K3 and she’s part of the group that has K6 and K2 w 3 cubs. She was rumored to also be pregnant and I haven’t seen her in several weeks which may mean she went denning.
There are conflicting reports about her lost two daughters…..one seems to have been lost before she came back near the N’waswitshaka again. The second daughter has been seen in the presence of the males a few times giving what turned out to be false hope cause sadly she disappeared suddenly which guide believe was a result of the males attacking her.
The only Original Kambula that has introduced cubs to the remaining Pride is K5….she seems to be the only one that was accepted back fully a month the cubs of the daughters . But these things are fluid and it’s not saying they will remain split….only time will tell
