the Kambulas (probably the 3 that are in the south) chased Floppy ear and K12 to claim a zebra kill, did a fight end up in this chase?

this persecution was in Umkumbe too

I was going to say if it is good if young Styxt male lion is with Kambula 12 good, but the lioness is also on her own. Ndhzenga sons and daughter must mature quickly? their daughter in the Styxt pride are about four? They already have cubs, and southern daughters also had cubs young, Styxt male lion is almost four, but he is three he has a nice mane.

K3 is with Nkuhumas, looks like its his turn now to try to be "solo territorial" male:

Hopefully his brothers return north in the next 24hrs cos I’ve got a feeling the Mantimahles males currently in Arathusa will venture further into NK pride territory if uncontested ie Kambula males are not heard roaring/scent marking.

Mantimahle will do whatever they want regardless if Kambulas roar or not.

The only help his brothers can give against the Mantimahle are being baits to be attacked, allowing K3 to escape.

Maybe they can be of help against Kruger/Avoca too, but that's it.

Kambulas didn't have what it takes before, in their peak, they won't do anything now. K4 lost the little confidence and drive he had after his beating and has what looks like to be a lifelong limp. K6 who was the second most confident also gave up after his own beating ( despite it not being that serious ).

I was going to ask if they were eight? I was wondering if K4 would get better. When they turn eight ? Wouldn’t they might change?

Kambulas are 5-6 years old.
The three older brothers at Sabi Sand (K3, K4 and K5) are littermates, all around 6 years old and turning 7 in late 2025.
The youngest (K6) is around 5, turning 6 in mid 2025.

Age isn't something that will suddenly change their behavior and strenght, they already are at their prime days. But they were in 'better days' when all brothers were healthy and in phenomenal shape, but now K4 with a perhaps permanent limp, they'll likely not have the same potential strenght they once did as 4 perfect condition males.

All four were sighted together in the far north western corner of Sabi Sabi.

These male lions are looking more like Nehena and Birmingham male lions.

yes they left Sabi Sands together and teamed up with a unrelated male known as the 'Pretoriuskop' male.

Idk, the area they are often seen doesn't have info, but from what i was told, the female on this sighting is a single lioness.
