I think K3 and K5 where in MM, chased of Kambulas, not K6.

Another sighting of the two of the Kambula Males in Chitwa on the elephant carcass. Do not know if these two males are the same one at MalaMala.

2 Kambulas are still north, they attacked Kruger male on a kill with NKuhumas present, K4 and K6.

While K5 and other of K3 are moving south.

But yeah as i sent u dm's K6 was indeed at MalaMala a couple of days ago. Perhaps they united with K5 and splitted in-between those last few days.

Maybe he returned north, while K3 and K5 moved south.

This is K3 in MM with K5 when chased Kambula pride:

Since incident with RRM, K5 is often separated from the 3 and doing his thing, he is also only of the 4 who was yet to be seen mating if i am not mistaken.

So he prob still doesnt "feel" territorial, and is roaming around, K3 prob followed him, he is 2nd least in mating.

K4 and K6 look to be more "mature", they will prob not abandon north at this point.

K5 and K3 will return back.

Exactly, i think everyone agrees that so far K3 and K5 are the least interested in mating and perhaps the most interested in hunting buffalo like nomads.
Apparently they went deep into MalaMala (around Charleston) but lucky for them the Ndzhengas are still at Londolozi with Ntsevu, can only hope Kambulas go back north and rejoin their brothers in the north. After chasing KM and somewhat frightning all Nkuhuma pride and BDM, perhaps an actual territorial takeover could take place in the Nkuhuma pride.

Unfortunate for the Kruger male to (apparently) split from the Avoca male. Even alone he was ready to stand his ground and relutant in fleein. With a partner he could still try something somewhere else.

@sunless, I asked you yesterday to not make any more new threads, and to read our rules and the tutorial section I linked in my other reply to you. I will link them here, again, but do not make any further new threads.

Kruger male looks like a very tall specimen, but not necessarily overall more impressive than K4.

I think K4 might be up there as one of the most impressive in the area right now, his mane is looking incredible and is an overall big, bulky lion.

Regardless very brave from Kruger male to stand his ground until he realized he was surrounded.

BDM was lucky that Kambulas only went after the KM otherwise he wouldn't have been able to escape with that limp.

K4 and K6 are the most dominant and interested in being territorial but unless their bothers return to back them up, they stand no chance if any duos show up in their "territory".

Also like I said before, K6 is the only one not in his absolute prime, so he might become the most dominant in the future.

I dont think Kambulas would attack BDM, they where interested in a carcass, which was dominated by Kruger male, who prob took it shortly before from NKs.

BDM was just asides with NKs, he is submissive and already shared kills with Kambulas numerous times, so they know his "energy".

Lions know which males are threat and which arent.

Two Kambulas with the Nkuhumas and interestingly the Nkuhuma Young Male is there while the SBDM and Kruger Male is not spotted.
Some mating did happened with K4 and Nkuhumas, also they let the Nkuhumas to eat.

Nice to see this.

This would be best for both parties.
