There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
I believe that probably the Kambulas were so hungry that they didn't bother stop eating when realized that none of the intruders were threatening them.

2 maulings and PCMs involvement north and with NKs stagnated that.
But i think PCMs will not come further north, they will stay im western portion of north and NKs will move in their territory.
I expect further north to be open and Kambulas might establish themselves here thru 2024, although without a pride for now.
idk if the word is wrong but i meant something like mercy / tolerance
Yeah, piety means something different. it means to follow and stick to the teachings of your religion very closely. It could always have a secondary meaning that I am unaware of though, but I have not heard it used in this context. It threw me off, is all. No worries, all good, my friend!

What do you think we invent something about his eyes, his eyes always look half closed, maybe "Slit Eyes" , which means having narrow eyes ??

"Slit Eyes" sounds like really cool name, and quite unique for lion (in fact i think nobody had that name).
I think K3's eyes are more slit than K4's. The Majingilane had slit eyes, and a few of the Mapogo as well, possibly the reason some of the Kambulas have some of it.
Anyway, as for the Kambula's behavior, all and every behavior is by default natural/normal, it's impossible for it to not be, the lions won't start dancing or adopt a zebra, everything they do will obviously be natural.
What happens with the Kambulas and that cannot be denied, is that their behavior is unusual, it is rare. Maybe not unheard of and certainly not unnatural, but definitely rare and therefore, interesting. They are somehow as impressive as the Mbiri males, but for the complete opposite reason. While the Mbiris' behavior is extraordinary because they, as 3,5yo subadults, became territorial while defeating prime dominant males 2v2, the Kambulas' behavior is extraordinary in the sense they are 4 males, almost 6yo, surrounded by duos, having an empty area with a big pride for months ( after they beat the dominant males ), but still didn't become territorial, out of their own choice they abandoned an empty area and a huge pride with no dominant males, and moved off to other areas to do nomadic things.
It's similar with the sister too, they have a lioness who's way over 5yo and who's literally a member of their "coalition", this I don't think has ever been seen. So the Kambulas are definitely "special" in terms of rare behaviors.
It's clear that almost any other coalition of the same age, with the same numbers, in the same area, would have been fully dominant by now. So yeah the Kambula's behavior, due to it being rare, is interesting and impressive, nothing wrong in stating that, it is simply the truth and part of what we can observe and learn.

That is a different attack. So, they have attacked him at least twice, then, that we now know of. I wish one of these parties would just leave, last thing we want is for this already injured SBDM to be injured even more, or worse.

no it is not.
Its clear that this is the same attack, the video just starting earlier from this angle, showing us the whole start of it.
Now that you say that, it does appear to be the same incident, I had to watch it a few times, as it is dark and difficult to see. I see him being drug backwards, like in those original videos, so it is the same incident for sure. Apologies for the confusion.

Indeed he's really developed. This boy is the darkest among all of the six brothers (counting Kruger Kambula).
K6 mane seems more developed / fuller than K3's and K5's, he is definitly going to be a impressive male
