There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

SOUTHERN PANTANAL

Jafar is a new male recorded at Caiman. He was seen mating with Fera.
Judging by his features he appears tobe rather young to me, unlikely older than 4 years of age but huge and stunning nonetheless.

Credits: Fagner Almeida

Over the past year, newer males have been seen in the area including the mature Hades and Paschoal, and now the young Jafar.

Rio & Manath, the male jaguars u mentioned previously apparently are close to solidifying a coalition? Hopefully yes! @Balam
"we identify as "Manath" & "Rio", two male jaguars, from different generations (not brothers) that apparently are living together in harmony for some time, a rare behavior among jaguars"

The Jaguar ID Project has given me the green light to search for a name for this coalition, the official announce post has been made here.

I sent my two submissions: Witoto and Yanomami, what are yours?

That is no other than Mick Jaguar, also known as Pirata. He was one of the dominant males of Porto Jofre up until 2018 when he disappeared, likely of old age:

Indeed, the Witoto males. Manath is too stunning, can't wait to see him grow more.
