There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Free snack at Kabini.

This tigeress walked across the trees and noticed something lying beneath a tree. The dead macaque which was lying beneath the tree made the tigress lift it and runaway into the bushes to have its snack.

Maya had already lightened a very dull day at Panderpauni (15th February,2016).Finding none of the cubs nearby, the ever cautious mother says ..' enough, where and what are you'll upto?'...perhaps and my dream shot thereafter. Please view fullscreen. Thanks Roshan, my driver for the wonderful angle provided.

During last to last week tadoba trip, spotted 3 tigresses. Attaching Maya first. She was sleeping peacefully at Kolara waterhole 97 leaving her 3 cubs somewhere near ainbodi waterhole near tadoba lake. Just look at her neck muscles. At this place she had a showdown with large bear and both ran in opposite directions. Valmik thapar and few of top forest officials were present at this place

Choti Tara was also sleeping very peacefully without moving in the midst of some 10-15 gypsies waiting for her. We waited for 10-15 mins but she was still asleep. In that time we spotted Pandu some 500 meters away from her which I posted. Choti tara looks to be pregnant.
