There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

In the Philippine province of Palawan, a large saltwater croc bit a hole in a small boat, and then dragged a 20-year-old fisherman through it and killed him, before being killed by others while retrieving the corpse of the man: https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news...t-20543411

It is reassuring to know that the siamese crocodile is still in the wild. This was a  recent observation.

Marlon du Toit : " The crocodiles of the Masai Mara are absolute monsters, bigger than any I’ve seen anywhere else.

Here one swallows an entire gazelle, WHOLE! It’s hard to believe but it’s a great shot to give you a sense of perspective on just how big they are!
Every year between July & October over a million wildebeest, gazelle & zebra migrate from the Serengeti into the Masai Mara. It’s a natural event of epic proportions & wel worth seeing as a safari experience."

Strictly speaking, Masai Mara is the Kenyan part of the Serengeti ecosystem, with Serengeti National Park being the larger part of it in Tanzania: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Sereng...34.8333333
