There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Northern Kruger males are something else. They look much bulky and developed at such young age. I think, from what I heard they're a bit more heavy than Southern ones

Hard to really differentiate in my honest opinion, I've seen males both North and South; big males abound, and some 'smaller' ones tbf.

Kalahari lions are another beast altogether. Can't recall seeing a 'small' one and almost invariably all have huge black manes.

Can be a bit of a quibble though as a 'smaller' male can also be dominant due to his own individual hyper agressive nature. Seen it first hand.

Good to know it -  I always thought that Northern Kruger males were slightly heavier than Southern ones. Thank you for the information.

Kalahari lions are absolutely beasts!

Many different males, coalitions and prides on the video. Mayambula males looks absolutely beastly for their age.
