The smallest (Blondie boy) of the Grootvlei males mating with one of the females of the Kanniedood pride, while his brother was a few meters away doing the same, this boy was fitted with a radio frequency collar for scientific studies.
The Grootvlei boys have taken over much of the Kanniedood pride and now the pride is split in two!

@titose good find. Seems Grootvlei males have taken full advantage of one of the Kanniedood males being injured and taken at least half their pride. Such a shame, Kanniedood males are unique looking, would rather they had more offspring

She comes from Lukimbi Pride and, no she isn't the only member of her pride.

An impressive sighting with 9 of the young Boyela/Babalala males in November last year in the northern area of Shingwedzi, the Babalala and Sirheni area is currently a hotbed of young male coalitions with about 5 different ones, the dynamics are very interesting and only time will tell how this drama will end!!
