There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

We came across this lion just as the sun was disappearing on the horizon. He’s seen some things...
Anyone can help if this is one of the N'wanetsi males?

Three of the Seven Mantimahle male lions, September 2014

We came across a group of 7 young male lions. They seem to have been kicked out of their natal pride and will now become nomadic until they are big and strong enough to become pride males. They will become a formidable coalition if they stay together till then

Look how scary this guy looks!!!
One of the six terrifying old Gomodwane males, being the most successful coalition in the southern Kruger National Park, conquering a huge area and leaving an incredible legacy!
