Also in another report they say the northern pride was seen with 3 females a northern pride male and 7 subs. And Brian rode has a pic of 6 males in the north who looks like the seven sataras and they were seen as a pride of 11 fitting that previous numbers. Il attach the links and pics. So maybe the 7 Satara come from Northern pride and were fathered by the 4 Northern males. Also even now there is still one Northern male with the pride in reports since 2018 to current.

Hard to tell, unless we actually can compare Sataras to those subadults, as Southern Pride also had many young males.

Satara males came on H6 from the south, not north (might not matter tho).

Throwback, last EBM, now in coalition with S. Shishangeni male, at Rhino Post Safari in December 2015  as ~ 3- 3,5 yrs old male :

Interesting that at that time, his current partner S. Shishangeni male was already a beast of a male lion and attacking Vurhami pride with his brother/partner, S. Shishangeni in December 2015 :

By currently looking at Afsaal males we might think these 2 boys are around the same age, but in reality theres around 1.5 - 2 yrs age gap between them, S. Shishangeni male is ageing like a fine wine, hope he can raise offspring in Jock area, it would be shame otherwise.

Jeez! I had no idea S. Shishangeni was THAT old. To think that 7 years ago he was already starting to reach his peak and that even now at his age he still looks as great as most prime males (if not more so) is INSANE. Crossing fingers that he spreads his robust and healthy genes in the Jock area.

Years back, there was a brief discussion in this forum (if I remember correctly) as to which males a person (if they were a reserve manager/owner) would translocate to an area in the Lowveld in need of top-tier males to repopulate the area with lions. Males such as the Charleston and S. Matimba males were mentioned and I'm pretty sure S. Shishangeni was mentioned as well. If not, he would definitely be a top contender as he is an absolute stud.

5 Young males seen on H5 couple days ago. The same 5 seen last year on s130 by Kruger PRIDE Safaris. The biggest two boys are the ones seen recently with Old Lubyelubye. Included pic of the 5 males last year by kruger pride Safaris.

@DARK MANE Not sure how old they are probably 3 plus or something. Some people called them renosterpan breakaway before but the guides at Jock said they know them as Gabbro pride. Around 12 members not sure how many are male subs though. But the young ones are offspring of Eastern Bank males

So basically the two older ones are known young Hippo Pools males. But you said that they come from Gomondwane and not Hippo Pools pride, im slightly confused, are the oldes 2 unrelated with other 3?

If old LhbyeLubye somehow forms a coalition with all 5, which seems likely since he was seen with the 2, this will become a force to be reckoned with in the area

They are not 2 "younger" Hippo Pools young males, we said that couple of times here already.

2 younger Hippo Pools are these :

Idk if theres a chance that they are 2 missing of the 4 older Hippo Pools males (Smudge and s28's partner), @Brahimlegend do you have pictures of 2 missing Hippo Pools?

I think these guys are too young to be those brothers. But I think I have a couple pictures of the missing ones. Only one side of face though on my old phone. Will post it shortly.
