Description of the Post:

The Blonde Ross Male Seen Yesterday in bad condition near Talamati Bush camp. His brother has not been seen for a long time, and only he himself has been seen wandering, with scars all over his body! ?☹️ This time was seen He is with a young male lion! The old boy’s condition is very poor, and I am very grateful that this young boy did not attack or reject him ? I saw a new photo of him today, which is even worse than the situation in this video. He will soon be 14 years old, and I hope his future days won't be too difficult.?

Should post it in Timbavati thread (location is not Timbavati, but Ross males are, their whole life).

Not sure what is currently happening in that area, where are the Fourways males?

Laast report they are further north around Kumana Dam, but arent there Kumana young males with their father Madala Mluwati?

Also Souther Sweni are pushing south towards this area, pushing back "Young" Mazithis.

@Brahim you have some info?

Is it me or are there a VERY large number of unaffiliated male lions roaming around Kruger and Sabi.  It feels like we are about to lose some friends.

They're near Tshokwane, is that right? I do wish we heard more from that area. The Old Mazithi Male is hanging on strong, but his mane suggests some recent stress, perhaps it is some of the other males you mentioned trying to push in, themselves.

Yea, he is not pride male anymore for a while, since Fourways/Torchwood coalition ousted him and bro few years back, but he stayed in the area as nomad, 2 Fourways expanded further north, and Torchwood male who stayed with Mazithi pride died earlier this year, so he linked back with his old pride, which he and his brothers dominated since around 2015-16, when they ousted 2 Old Mazithis (fathers of Mantimahles, S79 Mazithis, Lubyelubye Mazithis).

These (ex) Mazithi Pride males sired Mazithi Tshokwanes, "young" Mazithis (not so young anymore), possibly even few more.

Ah, ok, wow! What an indomitable spirit he has. I saw he was with the Mazithi Pride, sounds like his story is somewhat aligned with that of Mohawk's (who we haven't heard from in a concerning while), but on a whole other level. Mohawk hasn't been away from the Nkuhuma Pride, and on his own, for nearly as long.

Some big young males in Mazithi pride? They look too old to be sired by Fourways/Torchwood, no?
