There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Life is Sheedy
How STUNNING are these photos of “my” boys? Mr. Mo & his cuddly brother with the pretty eyes, walking in the road ? Goodness, they’re growing so fast!
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to witness this, by the time I arrived they’d moved off in to the Bush...
Thanks so much for these, Steyn ?

Southern and 2 Talamati young males grooming west of Skukuza, about 2 weeks ago:

With N'ws and DeLaporte males hanging closer to Skukuza, it seems that those 3 moved further west along S1, towards Phabeni Gate. That area is not well covered so thats why theres very few sightings of them.

#TBT Jock males- Zululand summer is well and truly here, with temperatures rising above 40*. While Adam was in Hluhluwe Game Reserve, I was sitting at work (sigh) knowing he was in our happy place so, the “next best thing” was to scroll through folders and I came across these impressive images of two brothers marking their territory. They were photographed in 2017 on a trip up into Kruger.
These two males are part of the Jock coalition of Lion and sadly, only one of the original 5 males is thought to still be alive. This coalition was said to be one if the strongest bonds ever. I wouldn’t doubt that either ... these two brothers were magnificent! According to the timeline, these would have been taken when the coalition was in their prime and the remaining Lion would be 11 years old today. #lion #lionbrothers #coalitionofmales #krugernationalpark
