There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Recent footage of Lua (Moon) Cerrado female from Pousada Trijunção who was captured by Onçafari in August last year.

I still have no idea of her weight.

83 kg Sub-Adult Cerrado male Jaguar ( I call him Mendanha male )

Year: 2017

Sub-Adult Cerrado male scared the residents of Morro do Mendanha (Mendanha Hills) devouring dogs, calves, heifers and a Horse.

Thankfully he was captured after months of hard work to capture him.

Sub-Adult Cerrado male being sedated, capture was done using the dogs as you can see when the Cerrado jaguar goes down off tree to the ground running with the dogs going after right behind.

Large Cerrado male Jaguar from East Cerrado at Pousada Trijunção - BA - Brazil.

He reminds me of other melanistic Tanks from Cerrado like Tiago and Barranqueiro males.

VIDEO

What a Tank.

Ogum male

NEX Institution had trained/adapted this Cerrado jaguar named Ogum to be introduced into the wild for almost 2 years but they didn't have the resources to do so (release the animal) and they are relying on donations on the hope to release this beast into the wild Cerrado in Brazil and to also build Marruá female's enclosure. Hope everything goes well with a positive outcome for both jags as well as all other animals they got.

Ogum really got that wild vibe and that brute explosion in the video bellow of his reminded me of Xangô.

VIDEO

Now I get why he is the most aggressive Cerrado Jaguar in NEX Sanctuary.
