Yes, hyena cannabolize from time to time like most predators. The recent new big cat week showed some canabolization from hyena after one of its members were killed by a lion. On a side note, big cat week was terrible this year, only a couple of new docs the rest was recirculated videos.

Good nature documentaries are getting to be fewer and fewer, or so it seems. Two that I enjoyed though were from Nat Geo's "The Forbidden River" series. Well, I guess that is enough off-topic talk.
Amazing video of a buffalo that lost all strength trying to get out of this mud pool. While lying there, a wondering hyena walks past and sees an opportunity. Taken in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
