There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Camera trap image of the incredibly rare and under-studied bovine, The Saola (Pseudoryx nghetinhensis). This animal is endemic to Vietnam and Laos. Source.

The Gayal/Mithun (Bos frontalis) is a semi-domesticated/feral bovid that is found in Northeast India, Southeast Bangladesh, Southern China (Yunnan province) and a few other places. The exact origins of this animal are not 1000% clear but there is evidence that it is its own species. It is also in some places reared as livestock and play a prominent role in the cultures of the ethnic peoples of Northeast India.
