There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The "Birmingham coalition lineadge" topic is already pretty much all about them. It is already starting to get messy with so much topics more or less overlooping each other. If it will be going this way there will be multiple page with half dead topics like this "Birmingham coalition lineadge" as if Kambulas would have separate topic then "Birmingham coalition lineadge" would be all about single nomadic Nkuchuma male.
In the current system, the threads themselves function as nearly complete records of a specific coalition or pride. I think its only fair that they have the names of the lions themselves rather than their fathers.
I think the Kambulas are a good candidate for their own thread. As for Nym at this point he is famous enough for people to look him up and his story is scientifically interesting enough to track.
It may be good to archive threads for extinct prides or coalitions though to prevent clutter.
I guess u guys are right. This boys could sooner or later get their own topic. They are probably going to be a notorious coalition in northern Sabi Sand, so i dont see why keep them as "Birmingham Coalition Male Lineage". K2: Kambula male Snip Tail in KNP

Pc males are still too beastly for these four young kambulas. Give them another year of hardening and they'll take them heads on. Greatness awaits these four young kambulas.

No, they do not function that way because threads overlooping. For example lots of updates on Avoca male are in "Nkuchuma pride" are "Lions of Sabi Sands thread". Same would be if Kambulas would get separate thread, some of their story would be here, some in their new thread, some in "Lions of Sabi Sands" and I guess some in the thread of the pride the will potentially take over.

Most updates are posted in all the relevant threads and you can always refer to the original offspring one when creating a new thread.
Its still better than tucked somewhere in a thread dedicated to completely different lions, based on shady claims of parenthood from lions that died a long time ago. Mixed with the various other coalition those may have spawned.
