Another sighting of Kambulas roaring at Chitwa:

They are calling for their brother, who was with 3 NK females.

Wow the NK females are playing both sides BD boys and Kboys with the long game. Females are so smart and males are so stupid when there's females pheromone in the air...lolz

Well-observed behaviour among mammals.

Seems like more than just chased off.  Blood was drawn on at least one of the Black Dam Males.  Not sure these guys are quite ready to take on the BDM's.

Thats an old photo.

But yea, based of video, K3 and K6 are in Londolozi, K4 and K5 north with 2 NK girls.

Not sure where is sister, if she was even with them in the first place.

Kambula boys are back together again. Deon Wessels is indicating that the Black Dam males have gone further south and may have been chased away by the Kambulas.

It seems their reign may have began. If this gets confirmed I hope we get a thread for them.

If the BDM truly lost a clash and were chased, they won't have the strength to keep fighting and the Kambulas won't get intimidated by them anymore, any intimidation factor is gone and it's likely that no other duo will be able to intimidate the 4 Kambulas anymore as they build their confidence in the next weeks.

I think its still to early for that. Both are pretty much just chasing eachother around.

The thing is, Kambulas are 4, BDM 2. When outnumbered lions can't show any weakness, the moment they lose a single clash, they lose the war as they can't really fight and the intimidation factor is gone.

We haven't got much information about what exactly happened in the past few days. Just assumptions.
For all we know nothing really happened and the movements are entirely due to just the two coalitions wandering around without serious interacting.

It would be better to wait a bit for things to settle down and see how the lions themselves look at the situation long term, rather than jumping on the latest news. Afterall just a few days earlier we thought that the BDM successfully chased them out.
