Sister didn’t hold them back when they attacked Nkuhuma male a while back. So, why is she holding them back now? Don’t you think they lack confidence to defend themselves in a bit prolonged fight against a seasoned coalition?

Definetly one of the reasons is confidence aswell.

Although, as we said, in both Gijima and PCMs recent clashes, we dont know how those clashes actually played out, it might not be that Kambulas just run away.

Btw, notice scaring on K4's back aswell, would be interesting to know if he had those marks before those clashes or not.

@Tr1x24 You might be right, may be it is the sister and I could be wrong.

But say, a year to year and half after, the sister still stick around with them… Will such an attack/attacks occur? Likely not, I suspect. Seems the boys are just lacking overall strength to defend themselves at this stage.

Hahaha... Part 2..  I wonder if he's looking for his brothers?  It would be nice if his brothers were present, because if he's tired, they wouldn't get slapped around for going at it.

I think males instinctively seek out the company of lionesses when they leave their pride. So having the company of their sister means they're not as 'motivated' to spend time with other lionesses.

In that clip we saw of K4 telling K5 to stay away from the Nkuhuma lioness, usually the less dominant brother would just wait his turn to mate. But in this case he went off and found the other brothers. I don't think he would have done that if the sister wasn't around. Just a hypothesis.

His whole life has lead to this moment, and he is wiped. He's like, "I'm going to take a nap, wake me up in a couple of days."

I just hope this doesn't end like Guernsey.  The good news is right now that that area is a vacuum.

If the other brothers were in the north as well they'd have a field day mating now that K4 is tired.

Not to mention that there were always at least 4 females willing to mate and K4 can't mate with all of them at the same time.

I haven't figured out how to link Youtube, but this is a video of K4 wandering around by himself.  Is he starting to patrol a territory, or is he looking for his brothers?

For starters, when you copy the link from Youtube, select the share button on the video page itself, it is located right underneath the emboldened video title, and copy that link, instead of the link in the address bar. Then, follow this guide, and you will be cooking with gas. Cheers, my friend!

K4 is currently alone in Elephant Plains, roaring and patrolling.

It's almost funny how he has 2 other brothers of his same age, almost 6yo, and a younger 5yo brother, but none of them wants to support him at being dominant in an empty territory full of females in estrus.

Like I've said.  You have Khanya up there, somewhere the BDM's are still hanging, and you have those Mantimahle's... I seriously hope K4 isn't biting off more than he can chew all by himself.
