Young and starved golden eagle rescued to birdhouse in Heinola, Finland to get treatment. Man on video is talking how calm these bigger birds are while handled. When looking this, remember that it is a wild eagle. He say, that hawks and owls for instance make a lot more noise and can be restless.
Here is a video, where another golden eagle treated in same place is released after 5 months. Man releasing eagle say, that he is pleased how well that eagle flied away and seemed to made full recovery.  *This image is copyright of its original author Marabou stork: Hey little guy! what've you got? Red tailed hawk and western rat snake
Shared on Texas Parks and Wildlife-DFW Urban Wildlife Fb Page This hawk was spotted by a group of 7th graders on a field trip at the Northwest ISD Outdoor Learning Area. Thinking that it was a dead bird AND dead snake, they notified the staff. After close inspection, both animals were still alive. One let go of the other (not sure which one let go first!), and the hawk flew off and the snake slithered away.
