I was told that Maya is similar in size to Choti Tara, even if she is a smaller Tigress, Chota Matka is still huge.
Great shot

Choti Tara is definitely smaller, she looks like the size of a large dog but more dense compared to Link 8 or the Durga female which look much larger than any dog I've seen, they are just much more massive in comparison.

Here is a video, for sure a very small tigress. I think she was only 85 kg’s and that is probably arround 30-50 kg below average for a Bengal tigress.

Yup, she's about the size of a Mastiff Type Breed, but more dense in body frame obviously.

Cool that you managed to spot her, will be fun to hear how she is compared to a male jaguar after you’re trip to the Pantanal!
If I’m correct she is the mother of Chota Matka?
And with matkasur being is his father. It is incredible how big Matka is. Especially if what I’m hearing about his father too being small too is true!?

I'll be in the Pantanal for 5 days, it sounds like sighting are pretty consistent. The only issue is that in July when I'm going, the Pantanal will have 2-3 days of heavy rain in a row which could make sightings a little more difficult if we overlapped with the storm.

I'm Jealous of your Kanha trip you have coming up, you still on for May?
