There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Wow, do you have the source?

Interesting stuff since it gives us an idea of the size difference we can expect to exist between males and females when we see them together in the wild.

I wouldn't have guessed this lion was that big, never mind that tall. I'd think the lioness was bigger than 130kg as well.

It's screen shot of an email. I cannot found full and may have deleted from my account. If my memory is correct , got reply on 2020. I've guessed the lion as very large because very large lions have larger mid section, which he has and less visibility of bones, but I never would've known the size of female. He was 400 pounds at 3-4. 540 pounds at 4-5, Currently close to 500 pounds. There are some videos and articles about his weights somewhere on captive lion weights.
