this is a good reminder to keep track of all the male tigers from the tourism zone of Bandipur, also his stripe pattern is quite thin and doesnt match with the 7 profiles i checked and you're right. he seems like an old tiger. I'll update the South Indian tiger thread when i get some time to get on the laptop.

Kanana-Dhari New Male of Bandipur! It was a wonderful experience to have spent sometime documenting various behaviour of this handsome male. His might, power, arrogance and a bit of attitude during this sighting clearly indicated he is not an intruder, but has come into this territory to make his presence felt to his challengers. My objective to capture this head shot was to display his intentions with the powerful stare that I noticed.

Interestingly, yesterday he was spotted near a location that overlaps territory of two huge male tigers, namely the Old Warrior - Prince and other Basavanna Katte male. Next few weeks at Bandipur will create history as we will soon see one of these huge male tigers grab the crown and acquire the long vacant position - "The King of Bandipur"... Stay tuned for more updates on this Big Fight.

this guy better watch out, Raja doesnt play around and Basavanna Katte/Gowri Shankar male is a force to be reckoned with. he seems like an older tiger who probably just lost his territory and is wandering around searching for a place to settle down.
