There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Shishir Kumar Jain:
Last Experience with T-24 USTAD

Lucky enough to witness T-24 on 15 May 2015 morning safari. Clicked him in the nala adjacent to the zone 4 entry gate, towards the left. He started walking towards singh dwar and turned towards the mandir on the main road marking his territory a number of times. He seemed very calm and relaxed strolling in his domain unaware of the fact that it would be his last walk in his abode. T-24 was looking as graceful as a maharaja walking in his kingdom. He looked majestic when he raised his head adjacent to a tree as if smelling the air around. On the way, twice he sat on the road blocking the whole traffic before disappearing into the forest towards Jogimahal. It was a good 35 minutes session. In T-24 absence, we hope his cubs from T-39 Noor will be taken good care of and must be protected from who so ever takes over. At that time, I couldn’t have imagined that it would be his last walk in the free jungle as the very next day he was taken away. I shall miss the roar of T-24 for such a beautiful tiger he is, but his roar is going to echo for a long time to come in the jungle of Ranthambore.

Shivaji looks different. Something's different, maybe skull growth and change? Scruff is magnificent as always.

Here's an old picture:

@BenFL

Judging from the comments on that facebook page, that was a recent sighting of Wagdoh from November 2015. Thats probably the only photograph of him recently. Awesome find and thanks for sharing that with us.

@sanjay

I think he was just trying to show that Wagdoh was indeed photographed as recently as November.
