Sudeep Mehta:
The handsome Kankajhari male Tiger was sighted after a long time in the beautiful and unexplored Kolara Buffer area. Due to absence of regular tourist movement in the buffer area, Tigers are still shy and hence we were able to capture this aggressive expression of the Tiger.

Dear Friends, Good Morning.

"Mirage" - Male Tiger / Tadoba / March 2015
"Our knowledge is a receding mirage in an expanding desert of ignorance." - Will Durant
This photo was taken in an very difficult climatic condition. Also its important to note that you can get blurry images from atmospheric distortion. As hot air rises we see a mirage like effect.. wavy air. This effect is often seen in the desert. I faced the similar situation in Kolsa region of Tadoba while capturing this photo.
