There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Shivaji ...The TIGER (Scientific name Panthera tigris )

One of the most shy and ferocious tiger from Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve .He spent most of his time in the Kolsa Range and was ousted to the adjacent area later on.

The Tiger lovers who saw him in his hey days fondly remember the time spent with him.

Image of Shivaji from Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in the State of Maharashtra taken by Bharat Goel (son ) in first week of June 2012.

Harsha B: " When we protect tigers, we protect ourselves.

Tigers are a keystone species. They're integral to the health of the ecosystems in which they live. As apex predators, they keep prey species under control. This protects the vegetation which in turn maintains the integrity of streams, forests and croplands that provide people around the world with clean air, water, food and financial benefits. "
