There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The guide of SL heard one lion roaring and they came out to see what lion it was and they found out that it was Darkmane indeed. This was before the SL live starts...he was chase off by some Elephant and they couldnt found him for the live show.

They cant instinctively know that a lioness is in estrus but he may have passed through some area where that lioness was also ... Nks are relatively close to djuma.

That's Darkmane, nice sighting!
Tendai caught him, this may indicate that soon we will be able to see the three avocas together... well i hope so!

Darkmane and talamati pride were seen on safarlive today. Darkmane still has a small limp from that paw/leg injury, that limp seems permanent to me but shouldn't bother him in hunting or dealing with other lions.
The talamati cubs all look like mini darkmanes, he is quite a unique looking lion and you can clearly notice the same look in most talamati cubs. A few of the cubs looked  like mohawk with the long face and the crazy eyes.
I thought Darkmane came to djuma looking for his brothers but seems more like he just came down with the talamatis after the talamatis realized the nkuhuma territory has moved south along with blondie and mohawk. Darkmane seems to be acting like the 5th mantimahle or nduna matimba, he is pretty much on his own. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point a younger coalition ends up becoming dominant in djuma and splits the northern avoca coalition into two.
