Resembles atleast to me, the missing S.Avoca. There was some news recently from Stephanie that one of the females that have been mating with the lone PCM, half brother of this boy, has been seen with cubs recently and it's believed that the PCM may be the sire. A shame that all male offspring by N/S Avocas in KNP are already territorial, it especially would've been nice for PCM to link up with the two Sand River boys, but as we constantly see, with a bit of luck, 2 member coalitions can be successful.

Young plain camp male lion; I trust he will do good. 
I feel he is son of Southern Avoca.

I feel you are right; the Sand River male lion looks like Southern Avoca male lion that has not been seen. Reply
