There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Footage posted a couple of weeks ago of Mohawk roaring. Apparently this is recent footage. He seems to be responding to another lion as he roars listens for a sec then roars again. I always wonder what they’re “saying” when they roar to coalition partners, their prides and rivals. Unfortunately as humans we’ll never know. :)

We sorta of know if it was another male he’s likely roaring saying I’m here this is my territory if it’s a female she might be looking for her pride or looking for someone to mate with and he’s responding saying I’m the dominant male mate with me it’s something around that depending on the roar if it’s a soft one it’s contact calling if it’s a loud roar it’s to show this is my territory stay away… I believe so lol

Could that be Khanya Talamati with Mohawk? It could be one of his Nkuhuma sons but where is everyone else? Why Did this son decide to patrol with dad?
