There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

From National park "Land of the Leopard":
"The Amur leopard population in Land of the Leopard National Park is near its limit – there are about 70 of them on our territory here in Russia, not enough space for everyone anymore! Now rarest big cat in the world needs new forests to live in. We are working on a few ways to make it happen – wildlife crossing and species reintroduction.
Photo by camera trap – mother Leo 16F and her cub. They need a new home!"

I am Korean. Amur leopard is still surviving in the North Korea. There is numerous Amur leopard's track is still discovering in the North Korea.
However, we don't know how many leopard is still surviving in the North Korea. I don't think anyone can go study the animals there.
These Amur leopard population is far isolated from Russian Amur leopard. If North Korea and Russia cooperates together. The genetic variations of the Amur leopard would be increase.

From National park "Land of the Leopard":
"Amur leopard Leo 46M named Renosha. The cat who lived. He was injured in a fight with another wild animal – that fight left a mark on his face. We were extremely worried about his fate. But he did it! Renosha is safe and sound, doing well! Leopards are very flexible cats after all, he just cured himself in the forests. Great news, winner! Photos by camera traps in Leopard Land National Park, Russian Far East. There are only 80 of those big cats left in the world, and we are doing our best to protect them."

From Leopard Land National Park:
"Amur leopard number Leo 87M listens attentively to what the human would call the silence of the Ussuri taiga. However for this male in this silence there is a storehouse of useful information. It's a super-predator. A swift hunter with an amazing ear. Even now he is not wasting his time – just look at his concentrated ears: what if a herd of deer suddenly whistles in the distance? Good hunting!"
