There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Sidenote: Panthera Colombia has restarted it's camera trapping campaign in La Aurora as well as other popular hatos in the region including Hato Barley. This is really exciting for me because I have been following developments at Hato Barley for months now and have spoken with one of the owners regarding big cats in the area. Basically cougar sighting have occurred and only one jaguar sighting, so far not a single jaguar in the area has been recorded through camera trapping. With Panthera increasing their reach into Barley, we will be able to see more of Llanos Jaguar from a different reserve, and also get a better insight of the cougars in the area.
Another reserve that Panthera is working is the Encanto de Guanapalo, of which we only have one cam trap picture of a jaguar. Panthera is trying to create a similar touristic zone on these hatos as what's seen in the Pantanal, so we'll be getting a lot of great images in the upcoming months.
