While we all await patiently for more news and update on that rescued little cub from IOP. let's head to east Cerrado.

In the Cerrado Onçafari project operate at Pousada Trijunção ( East Cerrado ) a farm with more than 33 thousand hectares in the heart of the biome.

Located on the border of the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia and Goiás. Onçafari works with ecotourism, science and education.

Their focus animal over there is the Maned Wolf. but they also bump into Cerrado Jags there like these melanistic ones. And Onçafari states that at Pousada Trijunção east Cerrado they registered melanistic jags more often lately.

And obviously as usual they reminding us in that post. ''Inside Brazil all biomes except Pantanal they got that genetic melanistic variation''. ( there's no official evidence at all of Melanistic Onça-Pintadas in the Pantanal which is an amazing fact )
