Territorial males dont keep head low, they either roar and face intruders or become nomads. Theres no such thing that territorial males play hide and seek, they either need to face intruders or they will surrender and leave.
Also, we dont know what where PC males doing exactly, we are not with them every moment, we know that there was another recent encounter where they invaded and had encounter with Othawas, and after that Skorro Jr. laid low and become nomad.
Thats enough evidence that PC males actually oust him, especially as now recently we again see them in western sector pursuing Othawas.
Its not like Skorro Jr abandon them for no reason and become nomad, because idk, he wanted that lol.
So yea, this is clearly a territory takeover, and not a "neighbouring territorial dispute" or anything else, and this is not just now, both PC males and NK/Nhenha are invading and pressuring him for months.
Again. There is a huge difference between a territorial dispute and a pride take over. In the first its just a argument about land and conflict can be avoided just by accepting territorial losses and staying on your side of the border.
Only in the latter your rivals are directly out to kill you as they are after the pride.
Skorro was only facing the first. And hes been for months now.
Ultimately what a male lion wants is the security of a pride.
Skorro still had that. So its odd that he choose to be nomadic without one.
