There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

" that Mbiri male is very big! I think he is slightly bigger than Red Road but Red Road is not far behind
He said," he think", so thats more of a spelucation, Scar is very muscular lion with massive head, so he gives that impression, in height, i think he is not any taller then Shaka.
Also, when those rangers are speaking "who is bigger", keep in mind that size difference between those males is prob very minimal, might not be even noticeable when they stand against each others let alone if they where never seen side by side..
For example Mpondos, mostly unrelated males, and you even couldn't tell "who is bigger" when they where seen together, let alone if you see them separated..
Size difference between DM, Junior, RRM and Scar Mbiri is prob impossible to tell unless they stand against each others, might not even then..
By that logic if Scar > RRM >DM/Junior (Junior was the size of Ginger when he was only 3.5 yrs old, and HB is slightly bigger then Ginger, HB was biggest of Matimbas and prob one of the biggest in Kruger) then Scar should dwarf every other lion around, and i dont think thats the case..
Size difference in male lions is very minimal, we can see that in numerous bigger coalitions, yes here and there some male is bigger/smaller but thats barely visiable, most of them is very close/similar in size.
