He seems to be a very large framed tiger, hes obviously a bit skinny but may have to do with time of the season. I have seen waghdoh go on large weight fluxuations so maybe Tadoba has a harder time of year to catch prey.
I don't know, just a guess, obviously.

Any pics on T10 will be much appreciated, so that we can create a profile for him.
Thanks
Here is a video of young Machli (T16) when she was 2 years old next to her mother (she is also called Machli).
Look how big is Machli (T16) next to her mother.
Even Valmik Thappar calls her Huge.

He has a unique "Y" marking above his left eyebrow.
He is the Kolara Male right ?
Is he also known as Saturn ?
The one thing which irks me at Tadoba is the fact that Naturalists from Mohurli, Khutwanda & Kolara gates not only possess poor ID skills but also have different names for each individual Tiger.

Quote:"Soon after he was seen mating with the young Berda female (T4) in the Semli and Berda valley"
It is Laila (T-41) who has been a long time mate of T-6. The Berda Tigress T-4, was Laila's mother. Could you kindly make the correction please ? Thanks !
In June 2014, T-25 entered the Bakaula, Berda & Semli area for the first time. On the morning of 17th June, Semli (T-6) strolled down to the Bakaula nallah, only to find T-25 mating with Laila (T-41). He beat a hasty retreat (without even a semblance of putting on a fight) when T-25 growled & mock-charged at him from a distance of 50-60 meters. It is quite obvious that Laila chose to mate with the intruder to save her 18 month old female cub. Hope he doesn't harm the cub though.

Here is an old image of T-10 (ST-1 of Sariska), borrowed from a few friends in Sariska. There are hardly any images of him from his RTR days since his area was out of bounds for tourists. I'll dig up my archives for images of T-12 (ST-4 of Sariska) shortly.

Yes he is Saturn.
The same tiger who fought with Katezari male and Leopard face (Gabbar) male.
Name : Saturn = Kolara male
Location : Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve
Year of Birth : 2008
Ancestry : Could be son of Waghdoh and related to Katezari Tigress.
Status : Live
Sex : Male
Species : panthera tigris tigris
Saturn had a fight with Katezari male on June 28th 2013. It is said that Katezari male tiger came to Jamini area in search of Jamuna tigress, but finally ended up facing Saturn. In this brief encounter Katezari male dominated Saturn. Here are some images of this incident.

After some time Saturn had another fight with Gabbar (Leopard face). This incident happened on 15th November 2013. Tourists intervened and broke the fight. It is said that Saturn was more dominant in the encounter. Here are some images of this incident.

Saturn hasn't been the same after losing the fight to Katezari male, Infact I have never seen him this weak before.. oh well, He'll probably bounce back again. Katezari isn't doing that bad for being the most dominant male around Pandherpauni/Tadoba Lake area.. considering that there's 5 different males
Katezari
Saturn
Gabbar
Pandu
unidentified new male that was recently photographed (In my opinion is a youngster, probably 2 years old at the very best)
and here's Pandu from Pandherpauni waterhole as well.

Tadoba has quite alot of males roaming around if you look at it
Wagdoh (Moves around Junoona bufferzone, Agarzari Bufferzone and goes to Teliya lake every now and then)
Katezari (Tadoba lake)
Shivaji (Kolsa)
Saturn (Kolara gate)
Gabbar (Hilltop)
Pandu (last seen in Pandherpauni)
Basant Bandhara (last seen in Pandherpauni, no sightings after this)
Veer (Unknown, probably around Kolsa)
Shiva (Jamunjhora)
Unidentified youngster (Pandherpauni)
Pasha (Bufferzone)
Unidentified Adult Male (Bufferzone)
New Powerful male that mated with Sonam (Teliya lake)
Yeda Anna (Bufferzone)
This is from Tiger Trackers FB page in response to my question about T12 alleged weight
"We apologise for the inordinate delay in our response since we somehow happened to miss out on reading your message ! While T-18 could well have been in the 160-180 Kg category, there is no way a 7 yr old muscular Male like T-12 could weigh in at 170 Kgs ! Usage of the obsolete suspension hook type of weighing scales in the field by the forest personnel instead of the reliable Digital scale is also another reason for inaccurate values being reported. We reckon he was at least 200 - 220 Kgs at the time of getting translocated to Sariska. His height @ shoulder blades, muscular frame, overall length as well the size of his face clearly indicate his weight to be in that range. Cheers !"
