His appearance with those intense eyes, and his physical build is simply amazing. looking at his little mane and massive shoulder sometimes he reminds me of the animation siberian tiger from the korean movie The Tiger: An Old Hunter's Tale.

to me, i consider him and Jai as the most handsome India's tigers in recent time.

I totally agree, Bheem and Jai are very special tigers indeed. I also like to add a few more in that list for central Indian males.

The Might Jai

Big Daddy Waghdoh

King Konda

Big Bheem

Massive BMW

Beast Bokha

Giant Kingfisher

Majestic Madla

Nuetering has nothing to do with size, if anything a neutered cat is less muscular but it won't change dimensions.
All the links you've been given provide scientific measurements of both cats.

The largest verified wild tiger is 389kg compared to the largest lion was 311kg or so. (I forget exact number)

Recent times, dr. Koch has a lion that was 270kg and two tigers bottomed out 272kg scales.

I have to ask again, have you viewed the links provided by rishi and the comparisons thread?
That will have all the info you asked about.

Yeah I looked through a few, but I didn't see any scientific weights yet, and I didn't see the 389 kg tiger.  Can you not prove there was a captive Siberian that is over 900 lbs and not neutered, just wondering.  And again don't get me wrong, I believe the Siberian is huge you can see them in different places on film and such, but I'm just not for certain how heavy they really are.

Ok but I can't know what you're saying is absolutely right unless you provide me a link or something.  And then I'll probably have to go run it by the guys on youtube and see what they think. Because Ive seen guys always trying to prove the tiger is bigger and they posted stuff that was shot down.  I'm not sure but I believe I saw that account debated the 389 kg tiger, and the poster said it was not accurate or experts said it was likely not true. If you have link or source post it so I can check it out. Again it could be true I'm just not sure on it. As for the neutering I disagree, are you saying this because the largest captive Siberian tigers were neutered?  I mean you're sort of defending it, why not post a verified account of a 900 lb captive tiger that is not neutered?

Dude, why are you so hell bent on educating some Nobodies on Youtube..??

Rather check out those thread links I sent you & you can educate yourself, there is at least a 100hrs read worth data in wildfact.

You can have all the figures you want & almost all of the points you raise HAVE BEEN THOROUGHLY DISCUSSED BEFORE!!!..

READ & COME TO YOUR OWN CONCLUSION bro..don't let others do the thinking for you.

Now, I'll try & reply you:

This was the Tsavo man-eater when it was shot...

This is what it has shrunk to now...

The Smithsonian's claimed 389kg...

Now, guess how he might have looked like originally.

He had all the 6 qualities a tiger needs to screw-the-scale..Massive head, thick neck, big forequarters, wide chest-girth, high overall bulk or stockiness, large height & length...Empty weight could reach 350kilos.

But he was partially gorged & was weighed on farm equipments. Even "Mazak's 384kg Amur" didn't look that exceptionally large & might have been flawed or exaggerated or gorged or might even had a tumor...  How do we confirm now??!!!

If it helps, the 389 kg specimen in the Smithsonian is no where near complete and what is sitting on display is unlikely to be an accurate reflection of the specimen body, bar the skull. Only the skull and skin was retained and mounted. I've no idea where the rest of the axial and appendicular skeleton is, it's not in the closed collections. Here is the collection information for the specimen and what is retained by the NMNH

With that, this thread is getting derailed so I kindly request we allow to get back on topic. No more posts on off topic material, we need to keep the place tidy and organized. If anyone has specific questions and are willing to entertain answers given, please use the "Questions" section or a more appropriate at least.
