There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

So Girrafe male lion was also from Avoca? I mix up where the Girrafe male lion was from. The Girrafe male lion is still form avoca, but was the girrrafe male lion when he was on his own? Or the old Avoca male lions where Avoca male lions once with Avoca lionesses? Girrafe male lion was never with Avocas?
I was going to say it is very interesting they look alike. I want to say Southern black damn male lion looks very beautiful. Older four southern black damn male lions with Avoca lions are strong, but this Southern black damn male lion here looks very different.
Southern black damn male lion and Avoca male lion cousins? Parents might be half brother and sister or brother and sister born in Avoca pride? Girrafe male lion was born in Avoca pride?
Southern black damn male lion and Avoca male lion look alike they must be first cousins. I wonder.
From what I was told the old avoca/giraffe males (fathers of the northern and southern avocas) are the older brothers of the giraffe male (father of the 6 black dam males) they all come from the giraffe pride

With 2024 having been such a bad year, for a multitude of reasons, 2025 sure seems to have started off, firing on all cylinders. This is even more wonderful news!

A male cub it seems. I hope she has daughters as well but I'm looking forward to see how this male cub will look like, being a grandson of one of the 4 Selati males, might look a bit like them.

I was going to say isn’t this Ximunguwe lioness looks similar to Selatie three? I think in the time in Sabi sands with Ximungwe lionesses; Selatie number three was the strongest or most confident. He was the male lion that fought against three or two male lions.

i wonder how many cubs she had hopefully 3 or four cubs or more.
From what I’ve learned about lion pregnancy’s is that the safer the environment and the more healthy the lioness the more cubs she’ll have so I’d expect at least 3 cubs but she is 12 years old I think so we’ll see

Well, I think it's obvious why he continues to stick with them. I was unaware of these injuries, and they look pretty severe. Do we know who caught him?

Last time she had 1 cub (assuming no stillbirth and early casualties that we woudl not see).
