Great thread u guys have here, ended up taking me quite some time just to go thru all 167 pages. I was wondering how many sons Mohawk has with him in the Nkuhuma pride, I know it’s pretty much impossible for Mohawk to be the father of all of them, however it’s just easier to both comprehend and say. Reason I’m asking is because in this thread, it’s always reported him being seen with 4 of his sons however I had always heard there were 5, I had also come across the confrontation between the two Talamati boys and the young Nkuhuma male lion, couldn’t help notice how small he looked compared to them. I know Mohawk has been seen several times following the buffalo with his sons so I’m guessing the male in the video is a sub-adult that still remains with the core Nkuhuma pride as opposed to the older males most known for staying with Mohawk and hunting buffalo.

[/font][/size][/color] The Avocas sired 6 Nkuhuma males in 2019. of the 6 males their mothers were: Ridge Nose - 2 (one alive today) Purple Eye - 2 (both alive today) Amber Eyes - 1 (gone) Chela - 1 (alive today) in late 2021, one of the Ridge Nose sons was injured badly in a presumed hunt gone badly and died. around October of Last year, the Amber Eyes son suddenly went missing for unknown reasons leaving the 4 remaining males that today hang around with Mohawk. Yes, the confrontation of the Talamatis with an Nkuhuma sub was with the remaining male of the 2021 litters ( yes still w the core pride)....different boy than those I discuss above. I do not get into which lion sired who as I find that extremely unreliable at best. so I leave that to to others who at times may use looks and features to support any claim to fatherhood. [/font][/size][/color] To me two of them look like darkmane (ridge nose boy and purple eyes son) chelas boy looks like blondie and the bigger twin looks like a mixture but mostly Mohawk  
For what their bond is worth, I very much doubt the lesser-maned male would have injuries this minor if his brother was in real trouble fighting. Ofcourse they could have been separated but I believe the second male will reappear.

This is concerning as the S.Avocas are inseparable. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture where they were apart. If there was a pic of one alone it’d be noted that the other is out of camera shot. That said, I’m sure over the years they’ve separated to patrol etc. but we just didn’t see it. Hopefully his brother is okay and will be joining him soon. S Avocas, Ross Males, PC Boys, Gijimas, are all examples of males with a very tight bond, it is very rare to not see them together. Being nomadic, the S Avocas really need one another right now, so I do hope they are both OK. Hopefully his brother is still there and they will soon reunite. But let's say his brother unfortunately got sacrificed, wouldn't it be something if he runs into mohawk and they joined up? It'll be so cool
