There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Well depends which Birminghams, theres definetly a size difference between Nhenha and Tinyo.
I think Blondie is bigger than Tinyo, Tinyo and Mohawk are prob similar in size, Nhenha is definetly biggest among them, prob around or close to Dark Mane Avoca in size.

I presume guide meant avarage size in coalition so it might be like you described it or somethink around it.
There seems to be no information on what the Southern Avoca males are up to lately. All vids and photos are almost exclusively about the Northern Avocas. Are the southern boys just not around much? Is there an update on any females or prides with them? How are the cubs?

They shifted their territorry into Kruger taking advantage from vacum made by moving elesewhere Mantimahles. They took over Plains Camp pride and Sand River pride and now they spent great most of their time with those prides in Kruger, in region from which there are no updates. The only updates we get on them now is when they show themselfs in Kirkmans Camp Sabi Sands.

Hmmm... That fluid sac on the elbow does not look good. Does that impair his movement? I haven't had a chance to catch up wild safari for a while now.
Did some digging about this. Those sacs are called Hygromas, they are not tumors and it has nothing to do with TB either. They usually grow on elbows of animals like dogs and lions after repeated injuries to the affected area, and are harmless majority of the time. This will not affect Mohawk's health.
