There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. This is why I feel certain that had the grizzly found his way into the African savanna and had adapted to life in this arid environment, the lion would remain as the dominant predator. Likewise, if the saber-toothed big cat Smilodon lived in prides as well, in North America, as is widely believed, then that big cat almost certainly would have been avoided by the grizzly.
