He took the kill from his daughters - Othawa lionesses were also spotted at the sighting. They seemingly ran away from him, so whatever familial affinity they once had is gone now

He's taken quite a beating and the injuries run down his back, but not quite near the hind quarters. Probably got into it with a lion, but wouldn't be sure who it was. Most likely with one of the PCMs, because I imagine the injuries would be worse if both had attacked him. I can't see him clashing with any of the lionesses in the west (Manghenis are tolerant of him, and the Ximungwes are just two). But he's a survivor, so crossing my fingers that he'll pull through.
