Most likely the others are still alive. Its difficult to take down multiple lions during a full chase.

I hope we get some clarity. As I mentioned earlier, I cannot say how Khanya would respond in such a situation, but we have seen NYM do the very same thing in previous incidents. Perhaps, there is some truth to the old saying, that association brings on simulation, even in the lion's world. The report saying Skorro Jr was running WITH the Mangheni, that sounds much more in line with how I picture this incident having played out, as well. He never once behaved in a threatening manner towards any member of that pride, and he has been laying amongst them for going on a couple of weeks now. This whole thing is just heartbreaking. Have the Mangheni not been through enough? Reply
