There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I can probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen Mohawk this relaxed. Lol.He’s usually up and moving around. Or very alert even if he’s resting. The weather must be great indeed in the SS today.
I do wonder how the loss of Blondie is impacting him or if it’s impacting him at all. They’d been together for 9 years and now he’s just gone. Not seen, not answering when Mohawk calls for him. Lions aren’t human but they are very social and form strong bonds with pride members and/or coalition partners. I do wonder if they go through some sort of “grieving” process, albeit brief, when a member with whom they were extremely close dies.
You're probably right. I personally believe that they have to go through a form of grieving process, just like you said, although different than ours. He is probably missing his bro blondie.
